In Lille, France: the hotel room

I arrived to Lille last Sunday and I'm leaving it tomorrow. This was my first time in this city and I have to say that I love it here! Especially the Vieux Lille (old city center) which architecture is so stunning and luxurious.

When I see beautiful old buildings, I can't help imagining how it must have been back in the days, how people used to dress and what their lifestyle was like... And I basically start daydreaming about a life that I would have loved to have. The best part about Lille - the current Lille - is its people. They are all so nice and welcoming, more than in any other french city that I have been to so far!

Lille is so charming...

FREE AT LAST!

I have finally finished the first part of my exams last Monday and it feels great to know that I have NOTHING to do for a week. Which means that I will finally get to enjoy the sun, go to the beach with friends, have lots of night outs as well and make other fun and carefree plans! I already have so many in mind...

So I kind of started celebrating in advance since I spent last Sunday with my family (finally) exploring the Oudaya in Rabat. For someone who's spent two years in this city it's kind of weird to only go there a few weeks before leaving it! But I did go and that's all that matters 'cause it has seriously been ages since I wanted to visit that place. I still feel like I need to go back because there are so many things to see (and to photograph) and one day was just not enough.

NYE party

These are the pictures we took on our NYE celebration.

I wore a dress that my sister gifted me a few years ago and that I only got a chance to wear once! The color comes out turquoise on the pictures but it's actually a gorgeous emerald green color.

I kept the accessories very simple and only wore a bracelet that I bought in Turkey two years ago (one of my favourites!) and a gold ring from Aldo.
